The reviews for the Kawasaki DX226FS 26-Inch Dual Suspension Mountain Bike are somewhat disappointing. There are a couple dozen user reviews online and the average rating is approximately 3.1 stars. The main problem that most of the negative reviewers are pointing to is that the bike comes somewhat preassembled but the factory assembly job is so bad that you must disassemble and reassemble the bike properly. Many reviewers felt that they would’ve been better off if the bike had come completely disassembled in the first place.

The pre-assembly from the factory is by far the biggest issue that people had with this bike. There are actually a number of reviewers that feel that the Kawasaki DX226FS is a very good bike at a very affordable price. One reviewer in particular seemed to fiercely defend this particular bicycle saying that it is a steal and the price does not begin to match the quality. He says that the frame is excellent and he has ridden this bike very hard, jumping off of 4 foot walls and park benches and it still holds up fine.
